Long poses in life drawing let artists really get to know the model, capturing all the little details and depth, like a mini art marathon! Plus, they give you more time to relax and refine, making each stroke feel like a masterpiece in the making.
SESSION INFORMATION
Each session runs for approximately two hours, including:
10-minutes of warm-up poses;
1x 20-minute pose; and
2x 30-minute poses.
There will be breaks for drinks, food, sharing and laughter.
Doors open from 6:30pm with drawing starting from 7pm.
MATERIALS
If you have them - bring them! Basic art supplies will be offered for those without materials of their own.
VENUE
QT Lounge - Level 15, QT Canberra, 1 London Cct Canberra City. Take the elevator to level 15 to join us for life drawing accompanied by some of the best views of Canberra.
ACCESS
Access to the QT Lounge is by elevator and there are wheelchair ramps into the venue. Disabled parking is available onsite. Best general parking is the Wilson’s carpark at the end of Marcus Clarke St. Please note that due to the light rail works, QT Canberra is not currently accessible via London Cct.
FOOD AND DRINKS
The QT Lounge has a dedicated bar serving a variety of wine, beer, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages. Snacks will be available to purchase - or you may like to check out the award-winning menu at Capitol Bar & Grill for a pre-sketching meal!
PAYMENT
Payment is made via Stripe when you click ‘PAY NOW’
CANCELLATION
Refunds can be offered for cancellations made at least 24-hours before the event date. Cancellation within this period will forfeit payments made unless ticket can be re-sold. Please reach out on draw@tipsysketching.club for ticket resale option.
