In recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, The Tipsy Sketching Club is pleased to partner with Verity Lane Market to raise funds for Bosom Buddies, the only organisation in the Canberra region dedicated solely to providing personalised on the ground support services to help individuals in the community affected by breast cancer.

Pink Ribbon Warrior - a discounted rate for those personally affected by breast cancer.
Bosom Buddies Member - a discounted rate for those who hold a current Buddy Membership. $5 from this ticket price will be donated to Bosom Buddies.
Regular - your regular price for The Tipsy Sketching Club. $15 from this ticket price will be donated to Bosom Buddies.
Donation Boost - maximise our fundraising efforts. $25 from this ticket price will be donated to Bosom Buddies.
ABOUT BOSOM BUDDIES
Bosom Buddies is an independent grassroots charity and the only organisation in the Canberra region dedicated solely to providing personalised, on-the-ground support for people affected by breast cancer.
Founded in 1995 by Shirley Fitzgerald, the organisation began as a small buddy group created to support a friend preparing for breast cancer treatment. Recognising that not everyone has a strong support network, Bosom Buddies was formally established to ensure no one faces breast cancer alone.
Today, Bosom Buddies is a volunteer-driven community, largely made up of people who have personally experienced breast cancer. United by compassion and lived experience, the charity continues its mission to support individuals and families across Canberra and surrounding New South Wales. All funds raised remain local, helping to provide free, ongoing support services to those affected by breast cancer in the community.
SESSION INFORMATION
Kicking off at 6:30pm, this life drawing session will have multiple models posing for 2-25 minutes across the evening, with breaks for drinks, food, and sharing. Participants will have the opportunity to contribute a piece of art created throughout event to be sold by The Tipsy Sketching Club (either on the evening or online), with 100% of proceeds from art sales being donated to Bosom Buddies.
VENUE
Juliet @ Verity Lane Market, Sydney Building, 50 Northbourne Ave, Canberra. Verity Lane Market has entrances at both 50 Northbourne Ave and via Verity Lane. Head upstairs to Level 1 using the staircases or lift to access the beautiful private bar that is Juliet.
ACCESS
This venue is wheelchair accessible. Lift access to Level 1 is available as well as two staircases. Doors to Juliet will be open from 6pm.
FOOD AND DRINKS
The wide range of vendors at Verity Lane Market are open for dinner from 5pm - so come along early and grab a bite, or order throughout the evening to snack while you draw. Check out the menus here! A fully serviced bar is available within Juliet.
MATERIALS
If you have them - bring them! Basic art supplies will be offered for those without materials of their own. High quality A3 materials will be provided for those wishing to contribute a donation piece.
PAYMENT
Payment is made via Stripe when you click ‘PAY NOW’
CANCELLATION
Refunds can be offered for cancellations made at least 48-hours before the event date. Cancellation within this period will forfeit payments made unless ticket can be re-sold. Please reach out on draw@tipsysketching.club for ticket resale option.
